The Rise On Application

What is Rise On?

Rise On is a mobile application to improve access to harm reduction support and substance use resources in the MetroWest area. The application aims to reduce stigma and provide culturally responsive assistance based on the community’s needs to promote healthier and safer options, not judgement.

How does it work?

Clients can download the mobile application to their smartphone or access the application via the internet on the Rise On website. Staff provides remote support to clients in real-time during hours of operation.

Is the Rise On application free?

Yes, 100% free! No in-app purchases or membership fees.

Who is behind the Rise On application?

Rise On is supported by Program RISE of JRI Health, the MetroWest Opioid TaskForce, and Natick 180.

How do I download the application?

The mobile application can be downloaded on the Apple Store for iOS devices and the Google Play Store for Android devices.

Do I have to give my name and personal information in order to use the application?

No! You can use the RiseOn application completely anonymously.

Is the application only available for residents of Metrowest Massachusetts?

At this time, the services provided are only available to people living in the MetroWest area of Massachusetts.

Can users of the application make an appointment with our agency through your application?

Yes, people can speak with staff members directly through the app to set up appointments for HIV/STI testing and PrEP.

Can users outside of Metrowest Massachusetts get access to the Rise On application?

Yes, services and referrals maybe limited based on resources in the local area.
