It operates from its headquarters in Framingham and has affiliates in Springfield, Worcester, and Lowell. SMOC aims to improve equity, wellness, and quality of life for diverse individuals and families through advocacy, education, and a wide range of services. It was founded in 1966 and provides homeless shelters, drug rehabilitation programs, family counseling, handicapped transportation, and other social services in the Metrowest region of Massachusetts.
